De-escalation Training Promotes Nonviolent Resistance/Rallie

The C.L.A.R.A. method of de-escalation that we use in our workshops is a nationally recognized method developed by the Boundless Love project.
In Person De-escalation Training in Clackamas, County, OR
De-escalation training includes information on using the C.L.A.R.A. method of de-escalation, a demonstration using the method and an opportunity for you to practice in a safe environment.
The next in person de-escalation training is scheduled on 5/09/26 from 1:30-3:30 pm in Clackamas County, OR

Our movement requires nonviolence from all of us if we hope to achieve the mass dissent required to protect democracy. We need more Peacekeepers to help keep things nonviolent by using calming, de-escalation techniques. Volunteer here and training will be provided.

Rally Peacekeepers are people like you and I. We talk with attendees and primarily keep our eyes and ears open. We watch for potential safety issues. Could be as simple as people being too close to the curb, or a conversation that needs to be de-escalated. We may need to encourage people to walk away from a heated argument or we may need

Many organizations and people are doing their part to promote a NON VIOLENT strategy to defeat authoritarianism and we need to do our part too. Even if we don't want to be official "peacekeepers" at rallies, we should all be familiar with the de-escalation techniques to protect ourselves, people we care about and our fellow resistors too.
